Descriptions

Foundations of Endocrine Summer Series: This is a conference designed for the fellows that focuses on the diagnosis and management of endocrine emergencies and urgencies.

Endocrine Rounds: This is a weekly conference predominantly composed of lectures from faculty as well as Journal Club by first year fellows.

Diabetes Case Conference: This is a weekly conference that consists of case-based presentations on interesting and complicated diabetes patients.

Neuroendocrine Rounds: This is a weekly interdisciplinary case conference attended by physicians from endocrinology, neuroradiology, and neurosurgery discussing the intricacies of diagnosis and management of neuroendocrine cases.

Medicine Grand Rounds: This is a series of invited lectures from Columbia and visiting faculty.

Diabetes Conference: This is a weekly series of invited lectures from Columbia and visiting faculty.

Walk Rounds: This is a weekly conference presented by the fellow on Endocrine Consult consisting of two 30-minute case-based presentations, a brief review, and an interactive discussion about diagnosis or management pertinent to the clinical case.

Bone Rounds: This is a weekly conference presented by faculty, and once a year by fellows, about a topic related to bone.

Thyroid Conference: This is a monthly interdisciplinary conference attended by physicians in endocrinology, endocrine surgery, and oncology during which clinical cases or topic reviews are presented.
